Overview Of Bridge Africa Think Tank (BATT)
The Bridge Africa Think Tank (BATT) is the research and policy innovation arm of the Bridge Africa Institute (BAI). It serves as a platform for generating evidence-based insights that drive policy reforms in economic development, human rights and the rule of law, accountable governance, peace and security. By producing high-quality research, facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogues, and advocating for actionable policy changes, BATT enhances informed decision-making at national, regional, and continental levels.
As an integral part of the Bridge Africa Institute, BATT directly contributes to the organization’s overarching mission of advancing inclusive and sustainable development through economic freedom, human rights and the rule of law, accountable governance, and peacebuilding. It acts as the knowledge hub that informs and guides the Institute’s initiatives, ensuring that programs and advocacy efforts are grounded in rigorous research and data-driven policy recommendations. BATT collaborates with policymakers, civil society organizations, businesses, and international partners to bridge gaps between research and implementation, ultimately shaping policies that foster economic resilience, liberty, democratic governance, peacebuilding, and social equity across Africa.
